Biography

Jane Bernhard is the Communications Director of CosmicAI. She is an ex-actor turned Columbia MBA graduate, and she is the host of the podcast "Your Career, Unscripted," in collaboration with the Texas Immersive Institute at the University of Texas as an Industry Explorer. In her podcast, Jane interviews leaders in the immersive, tech, media, and gaming industries about their career paths, challenges, and advice to inspire young generations to build careers on their own terms and define success for themselves. She has interviewed hundreds of CEOs and executives over the last few years, including the former Chairman and former CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, the former CEO of PlayStation, and the CEO and Founder of The Female Quotient.

Jane has written about insights from these interviews for CNN Opinion, Poets & Quants, as well as her personal Substack.

Jane spent her early career as an actor on HBO, Discovery, Oxygen, and various theaters across the country before pivoting to tech and business. She has been searching for a role that values her creativity, interpersonal skills, strengths in networking, and experience in marketing and content creation, as well as her knowledge of business and tech. Being able to work at a university and be valued for her creativity and communication skills means the world to her, and she is thrilled to dive into the world of astronomy and AI with much humility, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
